Paul Edward Slone

September 3, 1955 — June 10, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Paul Edward Slone. Paul was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 3, 1955. He passed on June 10, 2024 after a long struggle with heart and kidney failure.

He is preceded in death by his parents Monroe Slone and Betty Wygall and brother Monroe Slone III. He is survived by sisters Flara Slone-Johnson (John Johnson), Joy Ciamacco (Vince Ciamacco), and brother David Slone (Hyda Slone).

Paul graduated from Olentangy High School. He loved sports and excelled in wrestling, track, and baseball. Paul also enjoyed music and had a beautiful voice. He earned a scholarship in wrestling and attended Florida State. Paul also worked as a wrestling coach after coming back from Florida. Paul worked at Nippert Inc. in Delaware , Ohio and retired after many years of employment.

While employed, Paul was active in organizing and sponsoring golf and baseball teams. He ran in many marathons both locally and nationally. Paul’s love of music and attending concerts was a passion and highlight throughout his life.

Family and Friends are invited to a gravesite service on Monday June 17 at 11:00 am at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Road, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026. Friends and Family are invited for a lunch and gathering after the service at the Rusty Bucket, 3901 Britton Parkway, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 at 12:00 pm.
