Paul Thomas Jr.

Paul Henry Thomas Jr. (December 12, 1940—October 27, 2019), the son of the late Paul and Louise Thomas, was born in Buffalo, New York, died peacefully from a long battle with cancer.  He graduated from Canisius High School in Buffalo and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Buffalo. Paul’s career started at Price Waterhouse Cooper.  Paul transferred from the office in New York to Columbus, Ohio. He then retired with 25 years of service from Nationwide. Paul enjoyed life in Columbus and many wonderful winters in Naples, Florida, where he enjoyed playing golf.  He is survived by his wife Catherine of 52 years and four sons Chip (Nancy), Marty (Stacey), Brad, and Steven (Shannon).  Also survived by brothers Thomas (Linda), Peter (Joan) and David (Penny).  Poppy was a loving grandfather to 10 grandchildren: Paul Henry IV, Evan, Jo Jo, Claudia, Sydney, Jack, Noah, Carly, Catelyn, Luke. Family will receive friends Monday 5-7 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 am Tuesday at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kobacker House.
