Payton Elizabeth Young

Payton Elizabeth Young, age 17, of Columbus, Ohio is now at peace. Payton was a junior at Bishop Watterson High School where she was active in the Drama Club.  Payton was a beautiful young woman, inside and out.  Her smile would light up a room and her genuine kindness was freely shared with everyone.  Payton wanted things fair for all and wished for a better and kinder world.  She would not tolerate mean people and actions and had the courage to speak up when she saw injustices.  She wanted everyone to be treated fairly.  Payton loved children, nature, animals and the stars.  She liked to paint, draw, write and often practiced learning how to play the piano.  She will be dearly missed by so many people! She joins in Heaven her multiple, special relatives from the Young and Beier Families. Payton is survived by her loving family: her parents Jamie and Brad Young and siblings Alex, Tyler, Taylor and Brooke; grandparents Jim & Marcia Beier of Fremont, OH and Dave & Mary Ann Young of Marble Head, OH, her special aunt Alesha Young of Marble Head and aunts and uncles: Angela & Chris Merklin of Columbus, Douglas Young of Little Rock, AR and Mark & Jenny Beier of Chicago, IL; cousins: Hanna Merklin, Carlee Merklin, Shane Merklin, Elyse Young, Elli Beier and Tucker Beier, and the many other loving members of the Beier and Young Families, and her many friends. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00p.m. FRIDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where a Prayer Service will be held at 7:00p.m. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00a.m. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 at ST. BRENDAN THE NAVIGATOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH 43026. Private Family burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
