Peggie Hannah, 93, passed from this life on December 23 at Mayfair Village Assisted Living in Columbus. She was born in Dennison, OH the daughter of the late Rose (Davis) and Littleton Baker Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward and her daughter Amy Markle as well as her sister Dawna Ramsour. Peggie is survived by her children, Susan (David) Facklam, Edward Jr., Michael (Jill), and Jann (Greg) Peitz; grandchildren , Jeffery, Michael, and Brian Facklam, Miranda Hannah, Patrick, Emma, Alexander, and Andrew Hannah, Sean Markle, Jacob Wheeler, and Tory, Jamie, and Megan Peitz. Peggie is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Peggie was a graduate of Dennison High School and Office Training School in Columbus. By her own admission she was one of the "best darn legal secretaries" in town. She worked for judges and in a variety of local law offices before her retirement. Her children were often thankful for her skill in typing up their school papers in the age before computers. Peggie was a former member of the OSU Mother's Club and Upper Arlington Senior Center. She took up painting later in life and revealed her heretofore hidden artistic talent. Peggie was a devoted cook and loved to entertain friends and family. She was an avid bridge player. Peggie has attended Maple Grove Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Mayfair Village Assisted Living for their loving care of Peg these last few years. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 5-6 p.m. with a celebration of life service to immediately follow at 6 p.m. the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH.
