Pete Follrod

FOLLROD Pete E. Follrod, 78 of Mt. Sterling died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at his residence. He was born February 8, 1932 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio. He spent most of his life giving to his family and friends with his gardening and fishing.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillie (Yerian) Follrod; brothers Frank, John, Jr., Clark, Channing, Allen, Dick, and Bill; sisters Florence and Vera.
He is survived by sister, Betty Berg of Texas; brother-in-law, Jack Preston; sisters-in-law Martha Follrod and Fran Follrod, both of Mt. Stering; special niece, Tamara (Doug) Wallace of Washington C.H.; nephews Keith Follrod and sons, Todd (Barbie) Wallace and children, Jerry and John Follrod; several other nieces and nephews and a host of friends and neighbors.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends two hours prior to time of service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
