Philip F. Patterson

Philip F. Patterson, age 77, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Born to the late James A. and Mary Ruth Patterson, Phil was a graduate of Upper Arlington High School, Class of 1958 and attended Kentucky Military Institute and Bowling Green State University where he enjoyed playing football. Phil succeeded his father as owner of Patterson Pools and held that position until he retired in 2014. In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his brother Fred W. Patterson. He is survived by his children: Tammy Backenstoe of Hilliard, Ohio, Kathy (Steve Seciliot) Patterson of Marysville, Ohio, Tim (Olivia) Patterson of Galloway, Ohio and Abigail Ruth Patterson of Dublin; his grandchildren: Alex Backenstoe, Sam Backenstoe, Lexi Patterson, Molli Patterson and Hayli Patterson; brother James A. Patterson, Jr of Columbus, sister Charlotte (Tim) Hollinger of Upper Arlington, sister-in-law Sherry (Dave) Berent of Demorest, GA, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
