Phyllis Leach, age 80, of Columbus, Ohio, entered Eternal glory on Saturday, June 5, 2021 while at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chapel, Virginia to the late Charles and Laura Davis, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her daughters Donna Hanshaw and Candy Stover, her brother Willard Davis and her sisters Patty Smith and Elsie Bennett. Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Larry Leach, her children Richard (Terri) Leach, Carol (David) Garen, Larry Leach, Jr., Jennifer (John) McNamee, son-in-law Michael Stover, grandchildren: Brian Garen, Rachel (John) Craft, Katie Garen, Michael Stover, Matthew Stover, Jeremy Leach, Nathan (Mariah) Leach, Jonathan Leach, Alexander Leach, Timothy Hanshaw, Jessica (Donald) Joseph, Jacob McNamee, great-grandchildren: Adilynn Joseph, Landon Joseph and Leah Marie Craft, her brothers Charles (Faye) Davis, Jr. and Roger Davis, sister-in-law Sandra Davis, brothers-in-law Nelson Smith and Jack Leach, and many nieces, nephews and friends. A faithful servant of the Lord, Phyllis was a member of Jacob’s Well Church of God in Plain City, Ohio. In addition to serving the Lord, Phyllis set an example of how to be a Christian wife, mother and grandmother as she introduced Jesus to all of her six children, her grandchildren and generations to follow. She taught the Women’s Group on Wednesday evenings at church and she was devoted to her husband and to her children.
