Phyllis Massie

Phyllis Jean Massie (Burkhart), age 77, of Hilliard, formerly of Bucyrus, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at her residence. Retired from Timkins Corporation. Member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 614, Hilliard Moose Auxiliary 2236, Norwich Township Fire Department Women Auxiliary, Scioto Model A Club, and the Euchre Card Club. Preceded in death by parents Raymond and Edna Burkhart and numerous other family members. Survived by loving husband of 54 years Donald Jake Massie, sister Wanda June Kober, sister-in-laws Margaret and Barbara, brother-in-law Roger, numerous special nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call 2-5 pm Sunday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, where funeral service will be held 11 am Monday with Danny Vanscoy officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
