Preston H Young

Preston Harrison Young, age 70, of Hilliard, has gone to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with diabetes on April 8, 2010. Preston Young, the son of late Harriette and Hank Capozzi, was a 1959 graduate of Hackensack High School in Hackensack, New Jersey. He earned a degree from RCA Institute and was a plant manager for Auto Control for 35 years. He enjoyed Troop 10 Boy Scouts, Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church Trustees, Real Estate, trips out west with his family, as well as camping and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family who he cherished. He is survived by loving wife and high school sweetheart Linda M. Young (Almer) who he married on February 23, 1963, his loving children Christine (Rob), Diana, and Suzanne (Bruce).The light of his life was his grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Ashlyn and Cecelia. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service celebrating his life will be held 10 am Tuesday with Pastor Karen Crawford of Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church officiating.
