Proctor Sparks

Proctor Conard (Connie) Sparks, 82, of Columbus, born April 11, 1943, passed away April 12, 2025. Proctor, affectionately known as Connie or Con, was born in Canal Winchester, Ohio. He spent part of his childhood in Kentucky before settling in Hilliard, and eventually made the Hilltop his home, where he lived out the rest of his life. A dedicated diesel mechanic, he proudly retired from Graham Ford after years of hard work. Known for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and loyalty, he was not only a devoted family man but also a true friend to many. Dad, your kindness, strength, and love will never be forgotten. You will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Preceded in death by parents John Rich and Mary S Sparks, wife Sylvia Sparks(Davis). Survived by children Kimberly Scarberry (Estill Scarberry Jr), Thomas Sparks (Christina Sparks) and Julie Campbell (Kevin Campbell), siblings Dixie A Sparks-Rigsby (Proctor), Allen Sparks (Dorthy), Plessie Sparks (Dorthy), Anna Lee Sparks-Hay (Conard), Martin Loffayette Sparks (Cola), Minnie Mae Sparks-Buck (Herbert), Charlie William Sparks (Shirley), Allie Mae Sparks -Ramey, Merdie Sparks, Darrell Sparks (Linda), John P Sparks and Nancy E Sparks-Blackburn (Steven), 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Family will receive friends from 11am-12pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 12pm. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
