Ralph Brewer

Ralph M. “Tom” Brewer 87, of Hilliard passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023.  He was born in 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Attended Central High School, Columbus Ohio. Served in the Ohio National Guard.

Preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Patricia Brewer, parents Ralph R Brewer and Lula B Brewer, brother Donald “Ducker” Brewer, sister and brother n law, Carol (Junior) Henderson.  Tom is survived by daughter Lisa (Cary) Gahm, only grandson Ryan Gahm, brother John Brewer, brother Charlie Brewer, sister Jeannie (Roger) Spires, nieces, sister-in-law Chris Brewer, nephews and many family/friends and especially the “Hillcrest West Gang”- you know who you are.

He worked 29 years for White Westinghouse, IEH of Hilliard, and retired from Elgee Electric of Columbus. He was a huge NASCAR fan.  If you knew him, he was a dedicated #3 Dale Earnhardt Sr fan.  He enjoyed watching football, baseball, basketball and even WWE wrestling.  He loved his stick donuts from Lil Donut Factory.

Dad’s famous words to me were, “This Ain’t My First Rodeo” and “I do what I want, when I want and how I want”.  I will miss hearing those words from him.

A BIG “Thank You” to the Norwich Township Fire Department. My Dad was a huge fan of you all!

Family will receive family and friends on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 9-11am at Tidd Funeral Home 5265 Norwich St in Hilliard, OH.  He will be laid to rest following visitation at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
