Ralph Evert Festog

Ralph Evert Festog (92), of Hilliard, OH passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023.  Ralph was born in Uniontown, PA on November 18, 1930 to Henry and Freda (Stafford) Festog.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Annette (Pollack) Festog; his daughters, Scheri (Jeff) Skinner and Dawn (Bob) Jones; his grandson, Blake (Hanna) Skinner; his sisters, Ruth Kelley and Barabara Hoferer and sister-in-law, Joyce (Terry) Festog; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Included, with special thanks, are all his friends from Coventry Manor.  Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Henry “Hank”, Eugene “Gene” and Theodore “Terry”.

Ralph was a proud United States Marine, serving during the Korean Conflict.  Later, he became a career employee at General Motors working as a security guard.  He enjoyed bowling, being an active member of the GM bowling team for many years.

The family will receive friends for a visitation and funeral service for Ralph at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH on Thursday, November 9, 2023.  The visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 PM and the funeral will follow at 1:00 PM, Chaplain Russ Tichenor officiating.  Then Ralph will be laid to rest at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
