Ray Lewis (Buck) Holcomb, 72, formerly of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, July 25, 2016 in Four Seasons of Washington Court House. He was born Nov. 10, 1943 in Roseville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by parents Wilbur and Bernice (Mullins) Holcomb; sisters Louise (PeeWee), Marilyn, Kathy (Doodle Bug), JoAnn, Norma Jean, Betty, Mary Jane; brothers Melvin (Ike) Holcomb and Richard Holcomb; daughter Christina (Holcomb) Criner; granddaughter, Michelle Rae Bowman.
Survived by his loving family which includes brothers John and Larry Holcomb; daughters Linda Rinaldi, Sherry Holcomb, and Denise Miller; grandchildren Daniel Carson, Jennifer Stricklett, Jacob Holcomb, Erica Miller, Brittany Carson, Nicole McCann and Alyssa McCann, Stacey Weimer, Jeremy Miller, Haleigh McCann, Dakota Rinaldi and Montana Rinaldi; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 11:00 - 12:00 Noon at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. A Memorial service will begin at 12:00 with the Rev. James Blankenship officiating. In keeping with Buck's wishes, cremation has been requested.
