MILLER Ray E. (Junker) Miller, age 66 of Washington Court House, Ohio passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of his family by his side.
He was born March 26, 1943 in Madison County,Ohio; son of the late Roy Miller, Sr. and Mildred (Kelly) Miller.
Mr. Miller worked at AJ’s 40 acres auto parts in West Jefferson for 33 years.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Fay (Perry) Miller in 2004.
He is survived by son Ronald Miller of Washington C.H.; daughters Karen Miller of Washington C.H., Sharon Miller of London; 3 grandchildren Tracy, Kamie, Josh; brothers Larry Miller of London, Johnny Miller of Greenfield, Roy Miller, Jr of Kentucky; sisters Mary Jane Sharp of Galloway, Patsey Nicodemus of Columbus, Kimberly Miller of New Holland; close friends Clarence and Tina Swiss, Jan & Vaughn Viator, all of West Jefferson; and his cats and dogs. Special friends who helped with his care, Hospice of Fayette County.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2009 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling with Rev. Phil Gant officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to time of service. In keeping with Mr. Miller’s wishes, cremation will follow. Burial of his ashes will be in Paint Township Cemetery, London at the convience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help the family with funeral costs.
