Raymond Ayala

Raymond G. Ayala, age 68, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Retired from NYNEX and currently employed with the Hilliard City Schools where all the kids knew him as “the man with many hats”. He was the first recipient of the Hilliard City School’s Humanitarian of the Year award in 1997. He is preceded in death by his father Ramon Z. Ayala and brother John Moore. Survived by loving wife of 43 years Janet Ayala, daughter Trisha (Eric) Ayala-Johnson, sons Craig (Jen) Ayala and Brad (Holly) Ayala, brother Joseph Moore, sister Peggy Ellen (Craig) Scholl, grandchildren Kyle, Zane, Zoe and Brody Ayala, and Michael, Jonathan, and Christina Bloss. Family will receive friends from Monday 2:30-6:30 PM at The Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a funeral service will follow at 6:30 PM with Pastor Craig Scholl officiating.
