Rev. David K. Reimann

Rev. David K. Reimann, 51, was called home to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Preceded in death by father Rev. Fredrick Reimann. Survived by: mother Irene Reimann, loving wife of 28 years Mary Jo, children Kim, Tara, Tim and Malia, siblings Eunice Schaibley, Lois Hintzmann, Dennis Reimann and Kristi DeBoer. Graduated from Ludington High School, received BA from Concordia University, Ann Arbor, attained MAs from the University of Michigan - School of Music, and Concordia Seminary - St. Louis. Participated in Pastoral Leadership Institute.David was passionate for his Lord, Jesus Christ and deeply loved Mary Jo. His greatest accomplishment was partnering with her in gently raising their four children to love and honor their Savior. He inspired them with his love of music, enthusiasm for sports, and sense of humor while living life joyfully in the Lord. He touched countless people with his heart of service and humility. His passion for youth, outreach, worship, music, and community service were evidenced by shepherding his church, organizing high school youth musicians, coaching, serving on boards for the Ohio District, coordinating Ohio Youth Gatherings, participating in LCMS music/worship committees, supporting Mission India and other mission opportunities. Extended family was an integral part of his life. David’s heart could be seen through his encouragement of family members, traditions of musical ‘concerts’, and BIL club antics. Special thanks to all the caregivers in his life. His presence will be deeply missed by all who love him.
Friends will be received for visitation from 1-3 and 6-8 pm Friday at St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd., Dublin, OH 43016; where funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 pm with Rev. John Greig officiating. In lieu of flowers make memorial contributions to L.C.M.S. Joint Seminary Scholarship Fund-St. Louis, Missouri; Mission India-Grand Rapids, MI or St. John Dublin Music Fund. Please deliver designated memorials to church.
