Rex Allen Dalton, age 51, of Galloway, passed away Friday May 9, 2008 at his residence. He is a graduate of Timken High School Class of 1974, graduate of Devry with Cum Laude Honors receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, graduate of Stark Technical University with an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, and member of Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society. Preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Dalton and brother, David Dalton. Survived by loving wife, Betty Dalton; children, Robert Dalton, Rachel Deleon, and Ruth Scaff; sister, Florence Dalton-Gardner; grandchildren, Lexton and Ruby Deleon, Riley and Isabelle Scaff; daughter-in-law, Imee Dalton; sons-in-law, Elton Deleon, and Neal Scaff; and brother-in-law, Marc Gardner. Friends may call from 4-8pm Wednesday at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard. A funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday with military honors at Vineyard Fellowship Church 3005 Holt Rd. Grove City, OH with Pastor Tom Pauquette officiating. Cremation will follow the service. There will be a reception to honor Rex at the church immediately following the service.
