Rheta (Bolen) Colvin, of Hilliard, born on March 31, 1938 in Athens, OH, passed away September 13, 2013. Retired from the State of Ohio. Preceded in death by parents Donald and Ordeltia Bolen, brother James R. Bolen, sister Mattie Lou DeBolt, sister-in-law Mabel Gebler, daughter Patricia Lawles, infant son Steve and stepson Ray Colvin, Jr. Survived by husband Raymond Colvin, son Anthony (Becki) Borda, stepsons Richard Colvin of KY, Ronald (Cyndi) Colvin of RI, Mark (Barbara) Colvin of KY and Kevin (Nancy) Colvin of OK, stepdaughter Cindy (Ron) Major of RI, grandchildren Rheta McConaha, Ashley (Michael) Pratt and Sarah (Eddie) Taylor, great grandchildren Brittany McConaha, Jonathan McConaha-Becker, Merrigan Pratt and Madalyn Taylor, sisters Marjorie Stanley, Elaine (Robert) Howard, Judy (Frank) Hamilton and Sherri (Robert) Rhoades, sister-in-laws Shirley Butler of CT and Beatrice Steere of FL, brothers Donald (Joan) Bolen II and Michael (Diana) Bolen, brother-in-law Russell Colvin and a host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Thursday. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
