Richard "Dick" Moseman

Richard “Dick” Moseman, Mosey, age 82, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away on March 22, 2023. Dick was born on June 18, 1940 to Richard and Dorothy Moseman in Springfield, Ohio. After graduating from Tecumseh High School, he went in the Marine Reserves then went on to attend The University of Tennessee-Martin where he met his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Moseman. After graduating with a business degree, he went on to work for Sears and was eventually transferred to Columbus, Ohio. Once in Ohio, Dick and Carolyn settled in Worthington Hills where they created an extended family of friends and neighbors. Dick eventually left Sears choosing to be self-employed as the owner of two BP gas stations. With those BP’s he added to the Moseman extended family by taking employees under his wing, advising them through the various stages of their lives. Dick is survived by his wife Carolyn, son Scott, daughter-in-law Shawnee, grandsons Max and Xavier, daughter Nitia, and her dog Ramona, sister Marita Harding, brother-in-law Charles Harding, nephews Jeff and Chris Harding. If you knew Dick, you knew that he was a master fisherman, but he was much more than that. Most any hobby that caught his fancy, he could master: painting, jewelry making, photography, cooking and baking, just to name a few. But what he truly mastered was being a kind, thoughtful (albeit stubborn) Husband, Dad, Pops, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Friend and Person. He is, and always will be, missed.
