Richard Drudy

DRUDY Richard A. Drudy, 62 of Hilliard, OH, passed away unexpectedly September 14, 2012. He is preceded in death by one brother David K. Drudy, three step-brothers Dean, Donald, Douglas Jacoby, and maternal grandparents, Lillian and Carlton Rothert (Ga and Rocky). He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Bev; children, Rachel and David; parents, Bob and Jane Jacoby; and step-brother, Dave Jacoby. Rick graduated from Piqua High School and The Ohio State University earning his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education. He taught his first three years at Newton Elementary, and 31 1/2 years for Southwestern-City Schools at Pleasant View Middle School. He was a coach for many years, and loved the Bengals, Reds and Buckeyes. A gathering for family and friends will take place at the Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. A graveside service for family and friends will take place on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 12 Noon, at The Forest Hills Cemetery, Piqua, OH.
