Richard Evans

Richard D. Evans, age 83, of Hilliard, passed away November 15, 2010. Founding member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Hilliard. U.S. Navy Veteran WWII. Retired from General Motors with 42 years of service. Preceded in death by parents Sherman and Almeda Evans, wife Emily, brothers Harold, Sherman B Jr. and Lewis, sisters Eleanor, Inez and Shirley, daughter Eva A. Evans and granddaughter Makenzie Cotterman. Survived by second wife Arlene F. Evans, daughters Diana Evans and Regina (Gus) Damopoulos, brother Alan T. (Jan) Evans, grandchildren Michael Erwin, Betsy (Ron) Sargent, Aimee (Eric) Rogers, Jennifer (Chris) Cotterman, Richard (Amanda) Evans and Elana (Chris) Lenihan, great grandchildren Richard M. and Nicole Erwin, Nathan Shoemaker, Sidney Dhull, Eric P., Christine, Matthew, and Bethany Rogers,Elisabeth, Aaron, Gabbie, Emily Sargent, Dylan Evans, Sophia Lenihan, Courtney Beamenderfer, Emily and Conor Cotterman, and many special relatives and step children. Family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held 10 am Thursday at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 3500 Main St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Interment Forest lawn Cemetery.
