Richard Klatte II

Richard (Rick) Vernon Klatte II, age 53, of Lewis Center, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019. Attended New Wine Covenant Church, baptized November 16, 1980.  Graduate of Olentangy High School Class of 1985. Rick was a quiet, conservative gentleman with a servant’s heart. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed watching Barrett Jackson and Mecum Auto Auctions. He loved watching T.C.M. TV and old classic movies. Survived by loving parents Dick and Joyce Klatte, brothers Deron (Nichole) Klatte and Timothy (Rebekah) Klatte, nieces Olivia and Hannah, uncle and aunts Howard (Helen) Umphress and Janet Umphress. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 1:30 pm at New Wine Covenant Church, 4816 Indianola Ave., Columbus, OH 43214. In lieu of flowers, cards with sentiments, stories and memories of Rick would be treasured by his family.
