Richard Stahl

Richard Stahl, age 74, of Hilliard, passed away, Monday, March 16, 2009. Richard attended The Ohio State University and earned a Masters Degree in Agronomy after attaining Sergeant status in the U.S. Marine Corp. He retired in 1996 from The Scotts Company as Senior Vice President/General Manager after 30 years of service. Richard was a 40 year benefactor of Ohio 4-H and a past Brown Township Trustee. Preceded in death by parents Olin and Bertha Stahl. Survived by loving wife of 48 years Nancy, sons Mark (Amber) Stahl, Brett (Heidi) Stahl and Benjamin (Heather) Stahl, brothers Jerry Stahl of Glasgow, KY and Danny Stahl of Canal Fulton, OH, sister Carolyn Sue Hauber of Jewett, OH and 5 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held 7 pm Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3500 Main St., Hilliard, OH where family will receive friends immediately following the service.
