Rita L. Klanke

Rita L. (Burns) Klanke, age 50, of Hilliard, passed away February 1, 2012 after a short battle with lung cancer. Rita was a special person who touched many lives. She loved to sing and had the voice and heart of an angel. Preceded in death by father Curtis Burns. Survived by mother Irene Burns, special friend Kimberly Bowling, ex-husband and special friend Tim Klanke, siblings Danny Burns, Cecil Burns, Theresa Costanza, Connie Burns, Kathy Howard, Alan Burns and Diane Hinson, along with many loving relatives and a host of good friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to HomeReach Hospice and the many friends who provided care in her final days. A memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday at the Canaan Land Freewill Baptist Church, 2777 Gantz Rd., Grove City, OH 43123 with Pastor Shawn Bauchamp officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Kimberly Bowling for funeral expenses and caregiving.
