Rita Reynolds

Rita A. (Sinclair) Reynolds, age 79, of Columbus, passed away January 10, 2024. She was born in Wellston, Ohio. Member of St. James Lutheran Church. Graduated from Rio Grande College with her Bachelor’s degree and The Ohio State University with her Master’s degree. Rita was a teacher and counselor with Columbus Public Schools for many years. She was loved by family, friends and her beloved scottie dogs. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Luelva Sinclair, husband Everett Reynolds Jr. and brother Charles David Sinclair. Survived by brother Tyrone (Tawanna) Sinclair, nieces and nephew Fia (Guy) Swartwood and Regina (Greg) Hittman, Chris Hyde and Ann (Phil) Schiefelbein, great nieces and nephews Elizabeth and Collin Swartwood, Seth and Claire Hittman and a host of extended family. Family will receive friends Friday, January 19, 2024 from 10am-11am at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 11am. Private interment Union Cemetery, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
