Robert Dale Alton, Jr. age 67, of Hilliard, passed away Wednesday, December 01, 2010. Longtime member of St. John Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by parents Robert and Mavis Alton. Survived by loving wife of 43 years Suzanne, sons Rob (Betsy) Alton of Hilliard and Tim (Theresa) Alton of Marysville, sister Nancy (Don) DeVore of Columbus, grandchildren Rachel and Dominic, father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald and Marjorie Rings of Hilliard, numerous relatives and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held 10 am Monday at St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd., Dublin, OH 43016 with visitation one hour prior to time of service. Rev. John E. Greig officiating. Interment at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Building Fund or of your choice.
