Robert Dwayne Beal, Sr.

Robert Dwayne Beal, Sr., age 95, of Hilliard, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019.  Born July 17, 1923 in Fredericktown, OH, he was a veteran of the United States Army during WWII and participated in the landing at Omaha Beach, the Battle of the Bulge and the invasion of Germany.  After the war, he married Margaret Harris Beal in 1946 and together they raised three sons, Dwayne, Dennis and David.  They joined the Hilliard United Methodist Church where Margaret served as the church secretary for over 20 years.  Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife Margaret, who passed in 2017, and his son Dwayne.  He is survived by his sons Dennis and David, grandchildren Ronnalynn, Danielle, Ryan and Christopher (April), and his great-grandchildren Cameron, Alexis, Korbin, Rayden, Raelynn, Ryley and Emma.  Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-12:00p.m. FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 2019 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 12:00 Noon FRIDAY.  Burial will follow the service at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.  Please share your favorite memory of Robert on this webpage or send your condolences to his family.
