Robert Earl Durban

Robert E. “Bob” Durban, age 62, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at his home surrounded by friends and family after a courageous battle with cancer. A life-long resident of Hilliard. A graduate of Hilliard High School. He served his country proudly in Vietnam. A real estate broker with many productive salespersons who were more like friends to him than business associates. He loved drag racing and drove the winning Class A Funny Car in the 1972 Gatornationals. Preceded in death by his father, Ellis. Survived by his mother Frieda; his brothers John, George, Lee and Phillip; his sisters, Kathleen and Deanna; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends and his dog Schrader. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday, July 20 at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, where funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, July 21.
