Robert Eckle

Robert (Bob) Eckle, age 71, born April 8, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio died peacefully at home on 12/23/2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of 29 years, Kathie Eckle, daughter Amber (John) Birko, son Robert (Cathy) Eckle, son Jeffrey (Regina) Eckle, Step-sons Jeffrey J. Wintersteller, Edward (Christina) Winterseller and step-daughter Jeannie (Shane) Conley. Niece Chris (Jeff) Wyse and Nephew William (Chris) Eckle, nieces and nephews, Scott, Rob, Billy, Kellan and Jenny, and ten loving grandchildren, Matt Eckle, Cory Maycock, Sierra Hite, Jessica Eckle, Taylor Eckle, Jared Conley, Kelly Conley, Lane Eckle, Andrew Wintersteller and Alison Wintersteller and his faithful companion Kai.
Bob worked for 45 years as a diesel mechanic for International Harvester, Signal Delivery, Center City International, AMI Leasing and Schneider Transport.
Preceding him in death were his parents William Eckle and Marietta Powers Eckle and his brother William Eckle.
Per Robert’s request there will be no services.
