Robert Fisher, 53 years old, met his Savior face to face on Friday, March 3, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bobby is survived by his wife Regina Fisher, son Noah Fisher, and daughter Kylie Fisher. Born on November 11th, 1969 to Danny and Monna Fisher in Charleston, WV. Bobby would ultimately settle down in Ohio where he would meet Regina, his loving wife of 28 years.
Bobby’s life can be summed up to the word servant. Bobby proudly served his community, country, family, and God. A police officer of 31 years Bobby served the cities of Lebanon and Sharonville, OH and would go on to retire as the Chief of Police of the City of Hilliard, organizations that he was proud and honored to have been a part of. In 2001 he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served with distinction as a port security specialist until 2009. The most important part of Bobby’s life was his family. Bobby never hesitated to provide whatever he could to anyone who asked, whether is was building a house or acting as an in home nurse for his son, he could do it all.
In his free time Bobby loved to exercise his passion of being outdoors. Bobby enjoyed being on the lake with his friends and family, where he would cruise across the water on his skis or try as hard as possible to bounce the kids out of the tube. After his retirement in 2021 he set out to conquer his dream of hiking the Appalachian Trail. Bobby took great enjoyment implementing his, according to his children sometimes over tuned, attention to detail to find the best gear and to teach others what he knew about hiking.
