Robert Fogarty

Robert Fogarty, age 87, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late James and Frances Fogarty, he was a graduate of Cleveland Benedictine High School and a graduate of Miami University. He was a disabled veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War as a member of the Counter-Intelligence Corps. Robert was a stock broker and investment banker for various companies. He was a 50+ year member of St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, was a member of Columbus Cursillo, the Miami University Alumni Association and a long time Ohio Stadium Usher in Section 17A. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his siblings Eleanor, Geraldine (Harry) Alexander, Frances (William) Stack, James (Frances), William (Helen), Edward, Kathleen (Simon) Byrne. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol Fogarty, his children: Stacy Dodd, Julie (Paul) Melaragno and Daniel Fogarty; his grandchildren: Mitchell and Daniel Dodd, Annie and Max Melaragno, Macallan and Rhonen Fogarty; sister-in-law Tillie Fogarty, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 12:00 Noon FRIDAY, JUNE 2, 2017 at the Chapel of Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High Street, Lewis Center, OH 43035 where family will receive friends before the Liturgy beginning at 11:30a.m. Burial will follow the service.
