Robert Roy Gregory

Robert R. Gregory, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2023 surrounded by his family.  Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Cheryl (Beard), of 46 years, children Dustin (Tiffany) Gregory and Shannon Gregory, grandchildren Dustin, Aria, and Adelaide Gregory.  He is also survived by his brother Dan (Maggie) Gregory and sister Ellie (Art Jr.) Susi, mother-in-law June Beard, brother-in-law Bradley (Sue) Beard and sister-in-law Leslie (Paul) Ferguson, and many special nephews and nieces.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Louise Gregory and father-in-law Neal Beard.

Bob’s lively, outgoing personality and wittiness endeared him to everyone he met.  He was a true family man and was happiest surrounded by his loved ones.  His talent as “Mr. Fix-It” enabled him to extend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors.  He was a long-standing member of Scioto Ridge UMC and enjoyed volunteering at the Hilliard Food Pantry.  He loved playing golf, swimming, and traveling.  Bob retired from AT&T with 36 years of service and 6 years with Safelite.  He will be deeply missed by all.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church, 4343 Dublin Road, Hilliard, Ohio, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., where a Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Jason Wellman will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bob to the Hilliard Food Pantry.
