Robert Howard

Robert Lee Howard, age 72, of Hilliard, born July 18, 1944 in Elyria, Ohio, passed away August 2, 2016. Graduated from Central High School in Columbus. A long time real estate broker, he owned Howard Realty in Hilliard for over 30 years. Retired after 32 years of service from the Ohio Department of Transportation as Assistant Deputy Director of Real Estate, Later retired from M-E Engineering Companies, as President of Real Estate. Preceded in death by parents Earl and Garnet Howard and son, Robert L. Howard, Jr. Survived by wife, Oreta Howard, his loving dachshund, Coco, children, Christopher (Christian) Howard, James (Jennifer) Howard, Ashley (Jeffrey) Graetsch, and Justin (Monica) Klein, grandchildren Cameron Howard, Cydney Howard, Casey Howard, Kyle Howard, Taylor Howard, Grant Klein, Catherine Klein and August Graetsch, siblings Garnet Mitchell, David (Patricia) Giffin, Gary (Linda) Howard, Kim (Charles) Caldwell, Sharon (James) Patterson, Ruby (Ronald) Zapko, Tammie (Steven) Vasek, Joyce (Jack) Hammond, Gary Lilly, Diane (Arnie) Sprague and Karen (Steven) Roshon. Family will receive friends 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Thursday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Friday. Interment Sunset Cemetery. Bob was a true animal lover.
