Robert Huston

Robert “Bob” James Huston, 83, of Monroe Township, Pickaway County, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He served in the Navy, stationed in Hawaii. He was a journeyman machinist at North American Rockwell Aviation and he retired from RCA in Circleville. Preceded in death in 2006 by his beloved wife, Dorothy (Powell), of 53 years. Also preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Huston, sisters Helen Huston and Mildred Sprang, and brothers John and Gene Huston. Survived by children Neal (Beth) Lynn, Dean (Joni) and Wade (Vicki), grandchildren Joshua, Kelly, Amber and Macy; sister Barbara (Ed) Seeger, sister-in-law Lemoyne King, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Wednesday at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main St., Mt. Sterling, OH; where a funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday with Rev. Leland Brehm officiating. Interment Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Robert to Berger Hospice, 1170 N. Court St., Suite B, Circleville, OH 43113.
