Robert Rarey

Robert Rarey, age 93, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at the Kobacker House on Friday, April 19, 2013. OSU graduate of 1942, member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, and the Heisey Collector’s Association. Preceded in death by wives Mary Cooper Rarey and Helen Phillipi Rarey, and son Robert Rarey. Survived by children David (Violet) Rarey, Ann (Jim) Jones, Joe (Janet) Rarey and Ron (Diane) Rarey, brother Richard (Marian) Rarey, sister Marjorie (Donald) Rings, 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, loving relatives and good friends. Family will receive friends from 10 AM – 11 AM Thursday at St. James Lutheran Church 5660 Trabue Rd. Columbus, OH 43228 where a service will follow with Pastor James Hood officiating. Interment St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. James Lutheran Church at the address listed above.
