Robert Stuart Jr.

Robert Edward Stuart Jr., age 78, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017. Born in Ironton, Ohio on September 21, 1939, lived his life in Columbus and Hilliard. Bob attended West High School, Class of 1957. He spent his career as a Lather, Plaster and Union Carpenter for Melvin M. Engel Inc., later becoming President.

Bob was always a handy man, lending expertise and perfectionism to anyone who needed a hand. OSU football Saturday mornings won’t be the same without his personalized text “Hey…-O-H!” Preceded in death by loving wife of 49 years Jan (Ditrick) Stuart, parents Robert and Faye (Phillips) Stuart. Survived by daughters Cathy (Jerry) Walsh and Amy (Todd) Miller, brother Philip Stuart, sister Karen Whited (Marvin Klepper), brother and sister-in-law Joe (Joyce) Ditrick, grandchildren Cara (Dusty) Daufeldt, Jeremy Walsh and Hannah (Jared) Compton, great grandchildren Grace and Grant Daufeldt, many nieces, nephews, friends, and four-legged buddy Barley.
