Robert Wood

Robert Floyd Wood, age 86, of Hilliard, died November 9,2013. Born October 5, 1927 to George Washington Wood and Jenny Mayvin Solomon at 119 ½ South High St., Columbus, OH. U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Philippines 1945-1947. He worked at the Greyhound bus station 1952-1972, retired from Palmer-Donovin Manufacturing in 1992 and baptized Jehovah’s Witness. Preceded in death by parents, wife of 50 years Nancy Lou Gibson Wood and daughter Mayvin Faye Wood. Survived by children Robert Lawrence Wood, James Karl Wood, Nancy Marie Wood (Ralph) Rhodes, John Allen Wood and Leonard Alexander Wood, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and faithful companion Dudley. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026.
