Roger Ramsey

Roger Ramsey, age 63, of Hilliard, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. Born October 9, 1950 in Portsmouth, OH has lived in Hilliard for 31 years. Preceded in death by father, Alfred Dane Ramsey Sr.; brother, Alfred Dane Ramsey Jr. Survived by mother, Dorothy Ramsey; sisters, Connie (Roger) Cunningham and Dana (Don) Carr; ex-wife, Linda Ramsey; daughters, Lynn (Bob) Uphouse, Valerie Gage and Elizabeth (Tommy) Rowlands; son, Eric Ramsey; 10 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of good friends. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and NAUS, and a longtime member of the American Legion and Moose. He is a 10-year US Army veteran serving in Korea, Germany, Fort Campbell, KY and Fort Gordon, GA. He retired from Huntington Banks after 24 years. Public viewing will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard. A public graveside military service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Rd. in Hilliard.
