VERSTEEG Roger D. VERSTEEG, age 78, of Hilliard, passed away Thursday March 27, 2008 at his residence. He was a very active member of St. Brendan Catholic Church, The Men’s Club, and Knights of Columbus. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran in the Air Police Division. Employed by Colvin Co. after 45 years of service. Preceded in death by parents Guy and Lulu VerSteeg. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Mary Ann, loving children; Keith and Miriam VerSteeg, Denise and Dave Chase, Lora Beth and Jim Canterbury, and Barbara VerSteeg, brother, Marlin and Jean VerSteeg, sisters; Donna and Duane Gass, Mary Johnson, and Linda Spang, grandchildren; Jamie Hissom, Chance VerSteeg, and Daniel Chase, Sunya Heflin, and Samantha Grace, great grandchildren; Colleen and Caitlin Hissom, Joseph, Brandon, Kasie, and Natalie, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30am Wednesday at The St. Brendan Catholic Church 4475 Dublin Rd. Hilliard, OH 43026. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Brendan Catholic Church.
