RoJeanne Soronen

Nellie RoJeanne (Shattuck) Soronen, age 88, April 4, 2017 at her residence and surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart of 69 years, Richard Robert Soronen; his daughter Sher and husband William; his son Scott and wife Sandra; his daughter Rita and husband Emmet; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Robert and brother Max Shattuck. Born April 16, 1929, in Flint, Michigan, she adored being surrounded by family and friends, golfing on every sunny day, making beautiful gifts for all of fine needlework and knitting, and making holiday pies. She will be missed by many and will provide cherished memories for years to come. The family will have a private ceremony in her celebration and requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to your charity of choice.
