Roland Grenell

Roland Grenell, age, 87 of Dublin joined his soul mate Winnie in Heaven on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. He was a resident at Mayfair Village. Was a member of Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church. Retired from Lazarus, Army Veteran of WWII, had a life long love for music and was part of numerous barbershop quartets. Preceded in death by his loving wife Lulu Winifred who passed away on November 14, 2007 after 62 years of marriage, brother Walter Grenell Jr., sisters Dorothy Morgan, Helen Brown and Marilyn Geshwilm. Survived by daughter Connie (Alan) Willbarger of Hilliard, son Mark (Marlene) Grenell of Connellsville, PA, grandchildren Tamie (Russell) Martin, Tom (Juli) Willbarger, Allison, Katie, Kara and Kenzie Grenell, Zachary and Katlyn Martin, great-granddaughter Sarah Mae Willbarger and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3500 Main Street, Hilliard, Ohio with Pastor Karl Gaston officiating. Inurnment to be held at Jerome Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
