Ronald C. Guth, age 86, died Monday, August 18, 2014 in Waverly Ohio. Preceded in death by his wife, Irene Guth in 2001. Survived by his son Eric (Rebecca) Guth of Bradenton, FL and daughter Patricia (Thomas) Miller of Lexington, KY. Grandsons Kevin and Scott (Christine) Guth, Granddaughter Stephanie (Emily) Milhardt, Great-granddaughters Maddison Miller and Amanda Guth, brothers, Stephen (Linda) Guth and Richard (Nancy) Guth, nieces and nephews. Ron was retired Director of Engineering Utilities for The Ohio State University and previously employed by The Jeffery Mining Company, Xerox Corporation, Columbus Coated Fabrics, and American Standard Corporation. He was a member of the American Fluid Power Society, Travelers Protective Association, The Columbus Museum of Art, The Columbus Historical Society, the Columbus Landmarks Foundation, Franklin County Genealogical Society, The Rebounder’s Club, and Independent Order of the Odd Fellows. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Potter Lodge F. & A.M. also a Royal Arch Mason of Walnut Chapter No. 172. Ron was a veteran of the US Navy and his cremains will be entombed in the Sarasota National Cemetery Columbarium, Sarasota, FL.
