Roy F. Bailey

Roy F. Bailey, age 87, of Columbus, passed away on March 3, 2023. He was born on February 5, 1936, to the late Charles D. Bailey and Daisey V. Bailey McDonald.

Roy enjoyed spending his time with friends and family, watching sports, playing cards and shooting pool at the Hilliard Senior Center. He was a handy man, where he worked for many companies over the years.

He was known to have a green thumb, always tending to his tomatoes and flowers in the yard. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sister, Erma (John T. “Tom”) Wolf; nieces and nephews, Mary (John) Kight, Lisa Swank, Richard Swank, Linda Collins, and Diane (Doug) Dalin, John T. (Stephanie) Wolf Jr. and Jennifer L. (Bob) Halem ; and good friend, Kathy Collins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christina (DiNardo) Bailey, his parents; siblings, J.K. Bailey, George Bailey, Ronald Bailey, Peggy Felstead and Jeanette Long.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 1-2:30 p.m., at Sunset Cemetery, please meet at the Mausoleum, 6959 W Broad St, Galloway, OH 43119.
