Roy C. Birchfield, age 70 of White Oak Road, Bloomingburg, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 7, 1940 in Madison County, Ohio. He was the son of the late Cecil and Nellie (Yates) Birchfield.
He is survived by brothers Howard Birchfield of Wellston, Robert (Frances) Birchfield of Millersport, Richard (Kathy) Birchfield of Columbus, James (Janet) Birchfield of Maryland, and Donald (Kathy) Birchfield of Mississippi; sisters Loretta Ring of Virginia, Thelma Fryer of Washington C.H., Carol (Jack) Burchett of Madison Mills; several nieces and nephews; special friends Kenny & Sandy Downard, Tom & Dennise Ellis.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. The burial will follow in Madison Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 2 – 5 p.m.
