Roy Woodrow, age 74 of Madison Mills, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 in Country Glenn Nursing Home in Washington Court House.
He was born December 4, 1934 in Greenup, Kentucky, the son of Charles and May (Blevins) Woodrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Martha, brother Charles (Doc) Woodrow, and sister Marge Blondell.
Roy is survived by daughter Linda (Tony) Landrum of Madison Mills; sons Ronald (Kathy) Woodrow of Washington Court House, Gary (Traci) Woodrow of Madison Mills; 4 grandchildren, Michelle (Jarrod) Scott of Hillsboro, Shane (Teri) Landrum of Madison Mills, Zach Woodrow of Madison Mills, Tyler Woodrow of Washington Court House; 6 great-grandchildren, Sydney, Tabby, Shalyn, and Tate Landrum, Justin and Ryan Scott; 2 brothers Clyde and Sid Woodrow.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2009 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Chris Johns officiating with the interment following in the Madison Mills Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from
2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m.
