Ruby Scragg

Ruby Detamore Scragg, age 81, passed away Friday, January 26, 2007. Member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Charleston, WV. She was a life long Republican and proud to have served with President Ronald Reagan’s inaugural committee. Preceded in death by parents Elliott and Maysel Detamore, husband Kenneth, 1978, 1 sister and 1 brother. Survived by children Helen (Jeff) Hill of Hilliard, OH, Kenneth Wayne Scragg II of Hickory, NC, and Mary Martin Scragg of Statesville, NC, grandchildren Ashley and Cara both of Hilliard, OH, Charles of Hickory, NC and Michael of Statesville, NC, 2 brothers and 1 sister. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 12 pm Sunday at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Charleston, WV with Rev. Rick Waller officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3380 Tremont Rd. Columbus, OH 43221 or the charity of one’s choice.
