Rudolph Buoni

Rudolph Joseph Buoni, age 74, passed away in the comfort of his home with his loving family at his side after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. Owner and operator of R.J. Buoni Painting Inc.; which he established in 1955. He was born December 1, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Frank and Claudia Buoni. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy (Downey) Buoni. Also survived by his seven children; Joseph and his children Dustin, Ashley (Brian) and Chelsea; Cynthia and her daughter Adelina, Kathleen (David) MacDonald and their children Amanda, Dominic, Courtney, Mollie, Patrick, Mary, James, Gina, Anna, and Grace; David (Laura) and their children Shawn, Josh, Todd, Luke, Peter and Thomas, Jeff (Michelle) and their children Cora, Emily and Elisa; Benjamin (Kimberly) and their children Ryan, Nathan, and Samuel; Claudina (Shannon) Mullins and their children Chloe, Lauren, Claudia and Andrew, 8 great grandchildren, siblings Alfred, Ronald, Elisa (Mains) and James Buoni, goddaughter Command Sergeant Major Mary Ann Spicer, gifted him with a coin of honor in Recognition of Excellence, in Believe, Achieve, Exceed, and many numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Rosary service will be held at 8:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am Friday at St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church, 1600 North Hague Ave., Columbus with Monsignor Lane Celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
