Ruth Coniglio

Ruth E. Coniglio, age 79, of Hilliard, went home to be with the Lord November 3, 2010. Born August 26, 1931 to L. and Marbell G. Snyder Hykes. On July 21, 1950 Ruth married Joseph E. Coniglio who survives her after 60 years of marriage. The two have a loving family that includes daughters, Judith K. (Jay) Wright of Coshocton, OH, Joanna S. Markwell (David Warfel) of Greenup, IL, Joyce M. (Steve) Blocker of Westerville, OH and Jane E. (Thomas) Payne of Marysville, son Joseph E. (Cynthia) Coniglio of Hilliard, grandchildren Gary (Tammy) McCracken, Angela Darr (Brian Camell), Shaun (April) Noel, Jordan Markwell, Jason Coniglio, Jarrod (Beth) Coniglio, Jennifer Blocker, Adria (Chris) Neace, and Phillip McGlaughlin bonus grandchildren April (Damon) Boucher, Jordan, Ashton, Lincoln and Makiah Payne, 11 great grandchildren, sisters Myrtle Zorn and Patricia Carpenter. Preceded in death by parents, granddaughter Christine “Christy” Marie McGlaughlin, 8 brothers and 4 sisters. She was a member of Hilliard Church of the Nazarene and worked in children’s ministries throughout her life but first and foremost, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday. Private interment at Newark Memorial Gardens.
