Ruth Miller

Ruth Marie Miller, age 92, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Hilliard Assisted Living.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 493, Hilliard Happiness Club, Hilliard Senior Citizen Center where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame.  She taught line dancing at Hilliard Elementary City Schools.  Ruth was the Hilliard 4th of July Parade Grand Marshall and along with her late husband Frank Miller, II, played Santa and Mrs. Claus in Hilliard for many years.  She worked at the St. Mark’s Food Pantry, the Resurrection Lutheran Church Food Pantry and she always enjoyed the Hilliard “Night of Entertainment” that she took part in for many years as well as, the Hilliard Senior Citizen’s Choir.  Ruth was a member of the Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents Jay and Stella (Kelly) Maupin, brothers Jay and Art Maupin and her loving husband Frank Miller, II. 

Ruth is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Frank & Judy A. Miller, III, and Pete & Judy J. Miller; grandchildren: Tim (Allyson) Miller, Todd Miller, Christina Miller, Frank (Tammy) Miller, IV, Jenny Miller; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of friends. 

Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00p.m. MONDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00a.m. TUESDAY, JUNE 29, 2021 at RESURRECTION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3500 Main Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 where family will greet friends before service beginning at 10:00a.m. TUESDAY. Pastor Dave Kamphuis, officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
