Ruth Ohlinger

Ruth Alice Ohlinger, age 83, of Hilliard passed away January 2, 2016. Member of the North West Bible Church of Hilliard. Professional Executive secretary retiring from A.E.P. Before moving to Hilliard Ruth was an active member of Mt. View Baptist Church in Upper Arlington where she was the editor of their news letter for many years. She was also an avid painter and golfer. Preceded in death by parents Roscoe and Bessie Thompson, sisters Litha Bayes, Laura Evans, and Virginia Vickery, brothers Elmer Eugene, Edmond J., Marion B., Richard R., Clyde Wm., and Arthur W. Thompson. Survived by sons Michael (Becky) of Lockbourne, Ohio, and Mark (Belinda) of Columbus, Ohio, grandchildren David (Amy), Hannah Kerr, Christin (Todd) Atchey, Sam (Courtney), Nathan, Joseph (JJ), and great-grandchildren Emily, Julie, Jason Ohlinger, and Gavin and Kyle Atchey, brother Rev. Paul Thompson of Gilbert, AZ, and numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday January 6, 2016 5-8pm at the Tidd Family Funeral Home 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, Ohio 43026 where a funeral service will be held Thursday 10am. Interment, Wesley Chapel Cemetery Hilliard, Ohio.
